8mm film is a great way to add a vintage touch to your wedding video. It has a soft look that is really flattering and really looks cool outside in the bright sunlight. It’s a very popular medium and has been used in all kinds of movies and television show such as the into to the hit show “Californication”.
We recommend it as an add on to our existing HD packages. The film rolls are only 3 minutes in length so shooting 2-5 rolls will give you enough footage for an unique highlight reel. Another favorite use of ours is to incorporate it into the DVD menu. We really like having a 2-3 minute video loop on the DVD menu shot with the 8mm film complete with the menu buttons and music of your choice. It adds a nice touch that makes the menu really stand out. We’ve also used the 8mm in our “Cast List” with great results. The guys always look so cool walking outside in their sunglasses like something straight out of a Quentin Tarantino film.
